What is Freak Race?

Freak Race—an orienteering challenge in your city. During the event, you’ll receive tasks in the app, choose your own route and mode of transportation, and document your answers with photos. The participants who complete everything the fastest and most accurately win a cash prize.

How do I register for the event?

Registration is available only through the “Freak Race” app. Download it, select the event, and sign up. During registration, specify your mode of transportation and bank account number—if you win, the prize needs to know where to go.

How much does it cost to participate?

The price is set by the organizer of each event, so it varies. You can see the exact amount in the event app and in the “Events” section of this page before you register.

Do you need a car?

No need. You choose your mode of transportation when you register—by car, motorcycle, bicycle, scooter, or on foot. All participants receive the same tasks, but everyone plans their own route and strategy.

How is the prize pool calculated?

It depends on the event. In some, the prize pool is fixed; in others, it grows with each registration—the more participants, the bigger it gets. Winners may be selected separately for each city or collectively across all cities; the specifics for each event are outlined in its description.
